Research Field Planetary exploration. Inter planetary science. Upper atmospheric science Current Research My favourites are observational studies to investigate natural phenomena related to the distribution of upper atmospheres and plasmas around the Earth, other planets, extrasolar planets and interplanetary space, using extreme ultraviolet to vacuum ultraviolet observation instruments on spacecrafts and satellites. It is currently analysing using ultraviolet observation data from the Planetary Spectroscopic Observatory, Hisaki, and the Venus Climate Orbiter, Akatsuki, as well as developing of spacecraft and onboard equipments for future ultraviolet observation missions.
